Lydia is the Founder of Screw The Cubicle, a movement to inspire people to break free from the shackles of conventional work.
After leaving her six figure job in Canada years ago in pursuit of a path less conventional, this had led her to now be an advocate for location independency, and meaningful work with purpose.
Lydia works with talented professionals who want to repurpose their skills towards a more meaningful career. From building businesses to forging freelance careers, she’s already helped hundreds of people create better versions of their life and become better versions of themselves.
Many people are scared to quit because they can’t imagine how they would fund their existence beyond their nine to five. Lydia’s website, Screw The Cubicle, started as a blog to document her own personal journey of transition from employee to entrepreneur, and it has since turned into a community and resource center for professionals.
Now based in Bali, Indonesia, Lydia’s been published in Forbes, The Huffington Post, been featured in Elle Canada and The Telegraph newspaper.
Her most recent book project, Screw The Cubicle – 25 Unconventional Ways to Escape the 9-5 and Find Your Freedom, features 25 stories of ordinary people who left the Monday morning dread behind and found freedom and fulfilment elsewhere.
