Memorable Podcast Snippets:
“This is also why the idea of screwing the cubicle is really not just about quitting your job, but opening your perception to what is really possible out of your own head, in all aspects of your life. There is no difference between you and someone else who have done it, the only difference is they did the work to understand who they are, what they stand for, what they really desire, and then created a plan of action to make sure they get there. And it all starts from a choice. You can either make a choice to stay where you are, knowing what you know, doing what you always do, or make a different choice, to go towards unfamiliar territory to try something different. You already know your old story, when you have done what you’re supposed to do, versus what you really want to do. And if you don’t know what you really want to do? There’s a choice there too. Get the help and support you need to find out what you are designed to do with your life, with what you know about yourself today.”
“So then the question is..what is your identity then without your resume? Your degree? Your work experiences that you hope never to do again? And if you know what you don’t like to do based on your experience, you also know what you would like to do. What would you do that lights a fire in your belly, where you have the right skills, talents, and tenacity to do it?”
